[Rom] [Toro] [Unofficial Aokp] [SaberMod 4.9 & -03 optimizations] [10.30.13] [4.3.1]

linarologo.png

I had quite a few people ask me to do this so here it is. My AOKP kangs. I have lots of merged commits and optimization in these builds for your enjoyment.

If you have the GSM version of the Gnex (Maguro) you can find my builds here= http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2339744

Few things:
1) All code is written by the members of team AOKP.
2) I am not a developer. I am an Android hobbyist.
3) I am not affiliated with team AOKP, therefore any issues you have with the ROM cannot be brought to team AOKP

Please before you flash anything, I beg of you to backup your EFS partition. If it gets corrupted and you don't have a backup, there is NO FIX.
Here's how

Go into TWRP (make sure you are on 2.6.0.0.) then go to back up. Uncheck everything BUT EFS. Name the backup EFS and swipe to backup. That way not only do you have a backup of the whole phone but you have a backup of just the EFS partition.

####### FULL LINARO & -03 OPTIMZATIONS #######

Pulls the Linaro 4.7 chain and places it into prebuilts/gcc/linux-x86/arm
Modifies my build repo and a few other build files to direct it to the new chain
30 different linaro patches and optimizations made by the linaro team that improve the performance of the rom
-modifies the kernel I am currently building with to allow it to build Linaro
-Modifies the device specific repos to allow it to build with the linarochain
Set the building variables

Mine. I'm going to try my best to help him out some with the build. :)

Funky Kernel Downloads for Galaxy Nexus!!

Please keep in mind this is a WIP. I also build for 3 other devices. If its a feature you like and others agree I will work it in eventually. Please also keep in mind, I don't physically own the device.

Here's a multi device ROM. Base is apophis' 4/9 AOKP build

Its for the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus7 Grouper

are you going to try to put in the hidden nav in your builds? that would be pretty cool, especially when i gets some of the bugs worked out. i had problems with it, but other people haven't.

Something aokp is trying to merge into their build.Steve spear has it running in his build.nav bar gets hidden and you swipe up from the bottom to bring bit up.kinda buggy, but it works for some people.would be cool to see it in someone else's rom too.

Re: [Rom] [Linaro] [Tweaks] [AOKP Merged]

Cool! So what all will that entail, just being able to pick and choose current features? Or will you add a ton of new stuff along the lines of Pimp My Rom?

Re: [Rom] [Linaro] [Tweaks] [AOKP Merged]

Well, you can go pretty far with aroma. The first release will allow users to pick what apps they want installed or dont want installed. Pretty nifty stuff. Also guys im uploading a new build.now. few new features. Changog is already up. Biggest new feature is alternate signal layout. I dont have time to test it so plaease make a backup and report back here with any issues.

Also wanted to say thank you to all my users. You guys are great. Ive been lucky enough to have the better ones and not ones that start stuff in my threads. I really like the fact that you all give me feedback as I may not run into the issues someone else may run into. Good or bad I want it.

Ok guys, bad news. My wifes company is getting shut down and I will need to pick up extra hours. I will not have time to do android any more. I want to thank every one of you for supporting me and AOKP. You all have been f'n amazing. I have a good friend Akellar who is part of team AOKP and he does some really good builds. If youre looking for a new home. GO SEE HIM!!!

Again, I am very thankful I had everyone of you as users. Sorry I couldnt keep it going. AOKP 4 life!!!! lol

I told Akellar he could have the next post for his rom link and description.

Re: [2.22.13] [Rom] [4.2.2] [Aokp] [Aroma] [Linaro] [Lots of options]

Keep up the great work man. I've been lurking in here, but I have to say that your dedication is admirable and really great for the community :good:

Thanks. Back when I knew nothing about android I noticed that the devs would shy away or get easily aggravated. I want everyone not to look at me as a dev or rc but as just another person in the crowd. I post my gtalk where everyone can see it because I know how frustrating things can get. In the end I just want everyone to feel at home in the thread.
