This is CWM Non-touch for the HOX+

THIS IS A DEVDB THREAD, YOU NEED TO BE ON THE XDA2014 THEME AND PRESS DOWNLOADS AT THE TOP

installation instructions:

DOWNLOAD CWM HERE
then
reboot into hboot
fastboot flash recovery ATTrecovery.img

whats working:

sideload (keep it plugged into usb for about 2minutes with sideload running and it will show up)
nandroid backup and restore
no longer wipes /data/media (YAY) also thanks to utkanos for this fix
OFFMODE Charging WORKS

My phone died at 10 this morning. At 10:25 I was able to get it plugged in. At 10:30 the phone booted up just fine and the battery had (an obviously small) charge. It would appear off charging is fixed for the AT&T variant with CWM.

oh nice, from what I understand, CWM is now supported on our ATT hox+ and I can drop that TWRP that doesn't like it when my battery die.

Wait... is that why after my battery died I couldn't turn it on and spent like an hour freaking before I realized there was a way to do a reset, that would let it book (with 36% charged)... its TWRPs fault?

If you are on AT&T and using twrp GET OFF OF IT. That may be why. Why are so many people surprised that TWRP for AT&T doesn't charge in off mode? it says right in the first post for TWRP.

Telus not AT&T, though same hardware I suppose, and it charged it just refused to turn on.

As for that message, didn't notice that big pink message a month ago

Your risk so have at it. Also it wasn't pink before but it was there. For some reason people just refuse to read anything that is not big and highlighted for them.

Sweet.

This is some great work,

Flashing this and allowing it to charge in off mode fixed discrepancies with my battery readings. I tried clearing battery data and running a root access battery calibration but neither seemed to work. My battery would always read considerably less in recovery then it did in the OS... Not any more.

Enter fastboot usb mode and type -

fastboot flash recovery "recovery name".img
fastboot erase cache

and its just overwrites previous one
