AcDisplay is a new way of handling notifications in Android.

It will inform you about new notifications by showing a minimal, beautiful screen, allowing you to open them directly from the lock screen. And if you want to see what's going on, you can simply take your phone out of your pocket to view all the latest notifications, in a similarly pleasing and minimalistic manner.

Any settings to set?

Active display as an installable app huh? =] Cool!

I haven't seen it in action apart from the test notification so I don't have a whole lot of feedback yet. Interestingly enough, the test notification worked the first time I tried it, then I restarted and tried it again but it just turned the screen off I believe.

Also, is there supposed to be anything in the settings area? It's blank for me.

Thanks for your hard work! I look forward to it's progress =]

How is this on battery for the n5 with a LCD when compared to say a gs4 which has an AMOLED screen?

I don't see any options in the settings...and test notification doesn't seem to be working correctly. I'm on a n5 running cataclysm.

The test notification is buggy (and i'll fix it soon). It's a known problem. Settings has no GUI yet :D

This is very friendly to battery. It doesn't popup too often to eat a lot of battery :) (and has it's own turn-screen-off managment)

This was my favorite feature on a cherry picked AOKP ROM I was running on my GS4. However it doesn't seem to be correctly working on my n5. Display only shows up for a brief second. When do Tue notifications appear? For example they would appear on active display if I pulled the phone out of my pocket.

I know why does it show only for a moment... Well, let's hope the next version will fix it. What's Tue? :)

Tue meant to be "the" :)

I'm very excited for that to get fixed as I love active display and would love to use this! Assuming it doesn't harm battery like you state!
