Many thanks for this do you also have some time to fix the pulldown tweaks ??
the first one have the wifi logo that is stuck and the second one have the circle battery that does not work nice i would be awasome.

When I edit any xml
And compile an app and push to system/apps

And reboot my phone hangs


Wait for some time illll do it:D:cool:

Once I boot into cwm recovery and press reboot system now, it doesnt load the android OS, it reboots the recovery back...any work around?

Hi everyone, I'm Ged, a new member from Philippines and new user of galaxy core as well.
and thanks for the tweaks :)
btw, I'm using the ice blue systemUI now but I think the battery meter isn't accurate with the batt status of the device and lastly its decreasing status is jumping, for ex. from 87% to 54% after using for a time, not by 1%. I hope there's a fix for it :)


and...
can I ask how to unlock/openline my device? I've googled about it but I need to pay for unlocking code. Thanks

Can you guide me how to remove some of the unsecure features like wifi, Bluetooth, USB tethering NFC, SD card from the OS itself. I want to rebuild the kernel of Samsung 8262 .

i had the same problem today and i slove it by these steps
1- go to download mode manuly
2 - reflash cwm with odoin
it works for me but every time i use cwm to do any update i have to do these steps again
i'm not an expert but i think maybe there is something wrong in cwm

I tried adding lines but when I tried, it does not save the file. I used ES File Explorer. Can somebody help?

hi guys

i am new at android , Samsung and forum :) so i am trying to learn from you but i am asking if is their a way to modify the toggles in the notification area .. ? and i mad a back up with CWM Recovery i just opened it and click on " backup and restore " then i tabbed on " backup" is that's all to back up an image of my ROM .. and if i want to restore it where can i find my backup " i hope to be in the external card " and how can i do a restore ?? sorry for asking too many question as i mention i am trying to learn .. ;)

i keep trying to install cwm on my core 8260 bet when i follow the steps en try to reboot in cwm i get yellow triangle evry time and cant boot in cwm went back to stock rom with odin and tried it over and over again but no good result can any1 help me get cwm on my 8260?

    ▪ Tips

    ► If you have an odex ROM, after the debloating you can see trash odex files in system/app.You can delete they
    ► For hibernating an app (Hibernating means app is disabled until you access it.So you can access disabled app when you want and you can re-hibernate it for battery.) I can suggest Greenify

    INSTRUCTIONS :

    1. Install the Galaxy Core Drivers On Your Desktop

    2. Extract ODIN.zip on your Desktop

    3. Copy Recovery.tar File In ODIN Folder(its preferable to keep them in the same directory)

    4. Now Go To Your Phone Settings

    5. Click On Developer Options & Tick USB Debugging

    6. Turn Off Your Phone

    7. After Your Mobile Is Completely Turned Off Go Into Downloading Mode - Press & Hold Volume Down +Home Key +Power Key, Press Volume Up Again To Proceed

    8. Connect Your Phone To Your PC via USB Cable

    9. Now Open ODIN 3.07

    10. Your Phone Should Be Detected In ODIN If You Have Installed The Drivers Correctly

    11. Now Click On The PDA Button Then Select recovery.tar(CWM Recovery File)

    12. Press The Start Button. Now The Installation Should Start.

    13. When The Installation Is Completed It Should Display "PASS" Then Remove The USB Cable From Your Device

    14. Now To Go Into CWM Recovery - Turn Off Your Phone Completely.

    15. Press Power Button + Home Button + Volume Down Button.

    16. Now You Have A CWM Recovery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
