Please Backup your ICS apps and do a Full Wipe before install, do NOT RESTORE GB APPS IT CAUSES MALFUNCTION WHEN THE APPS GET INSTALLED RE INSTALL THE APP FROM THE MARKET

RECOMENDED 4Ext Recovery

1-wipe all partitions exept sd card

2-instal zip from SD Card


CWR Steps to Install

1-Reboot recovery

2-Wipe data / factory reset

3-Wipe cache

4-Wipe dalvik cahce

5-Format system

added FFCFix.apk - AOKP( to help the crash in fron camera wile rebooting or turning one the phone)
added unicorn-porn live wallpaper - AOKP ( just a live wallpaper with pink unicorns nothing bad)

TIPS
when the screen is off, you can pres the HOME, MENU and BACK Button to wake up the screen to unlock them :) keep that in mind :)

Im going to to be very strict in that, PLEASE DONT ASK FOR ETA, you know that demanding for a fix is bad here in xda, we do this in our free time as a hobby so dont ask for ETAS and if you encouter a bug, tell us and if you encouter a FC ( that should be no one there ) please provide the name of the app , a logcat and how to reproduse it that way we can work in a better way :)

I recommend Opera Mobile for downloading. If your download fails with stock browser, get opera mobile.

Edit: This is awesome. It's smoooooooth and has options galore. Thanks for this.

Saw this rom on my friends inspire 4g and immediately wanted it. Thanks for the work man, how hard was it to get the camera working?

We have a working camera on ICS, another kernel dev, plenty of action and excitement on the forums, aaaand everyone is getting along. This is so great.

Hmm, camera isn't taking the best pictures. Not complaing. Just reporting.

no one is best, its more user selection :) ill PM zipsnet latter in the day with a fix for his red thing :)

does zipsnet buil have front facing camera? or video?

people give me some feedback, how the rom is going :D did every one is having fun!!

He mentioned that video could work and i didnt flash his rom.Whtever,i tried to download your rom,but dev host acting dump.Tried twice and dowload stopped suddenly.Do you have mirrors?By the way ,does this include Gapps?

    Started a new project if anyone might be interested.. No ETA, still have some work to do with it :D

    firesnatch and me are helping zipsnet fixing some things and he is helping me fixing others :)

    the face unlokc option was found by firesnatch . it is like a colaborate work inclouding all the android imsomnia team (me and firesnatch are part ot that team) me and firesnatch are working hard ( me overnight) to try pull a super stable rom for all of you.

    now im talking about adreno libs

    the DHD port was tweaked to use the new adreno libs , so thats why i cant (or you) use the old adreno lib in the newest roms, so every one needs to wait untill apps get updated for that libs.

    about kernel
    Tiamat ICS kernel and MDJ ICS AOSP kernels are killing battery, they drain a lot of battery, and i dont want that to be in my rom, like i said above, i wan a stable ICS build for every one :). So if you want to find another kernel adn if you flash that kernel and works great for you, please give me some feedback and download link to it, that way the testers of android insomnia or me by my self can test them and see the improvments :)

    Bluethoot problem

    the bluethoot firmware was missing in system/etc/fiemware, that was the problem of bluethoot not pair with devices, i added it to my test build.


    thest build progress

    I made for my self a test build, including, the buethoot fix, face unlock, the camera force close fix, and one or two things more, if all goes like i want then espect an update this week


    so people be patient but dont demand for a fast fix just report wait and see

    well thats all i can say for now

    and please forgive me for all the silly bugs around there all will be fixed soon :)
