you need to setup the APN manually.

Settings ->
Wireless & Networks ->
Mobile Networks ->
Access Point Names ->
*Hit the Menu button* -> New APN
Enter the details about your telco

Not looking and looking
I realize that the model is I9000T
apparently not compatible with i9000 csc

My friend got an idea for csc?

Thanks for your quick response

Yes, but it only takes a minute so it doesn't bother me.

The first time I flashed I let it boot up then typed in the *272 etc code but the 2 nd time I flashed to this firmware I skipped that last step and found that it works great.

We're Sorry
I wanted to ask if your device has a common center button and 2 tactile as the i9000
And if the 3G bands are 850/900/2100

Greetings and thanks
:confused::confused:

yes and yes. flash using the jh2 csc file and once it boots up go to settings, wireless, mobile network, access points, press left menu key and add your carriers apn settings. if you do not know them then google search for your carriers name and apn settings. enter them and save them and you should be good to go

Few facts about this version:

When using *Multi CSC* you need to type *#272*????# after the flash (in dialer). ???? being the current time displayed by phone. For example if the time is currently 6.25pm you need to type *#272*0625#. Then select the desired CSC version from the list and press "Install".

Regards.

hi, can you please let me know the purpose of the *#272 step? the reason i ask is because i flashed this rom using the jh2 csc and when it booted up it already had the bell apps that come with my phone and all i had to do was manually enter my apn settings for rogers and all works well. i did notice that by not doing the *#272 step i have the option in network settings to pick gsm only/3g only/2g,3g auto (not able to change this with totally stock setting).

the only real issue i have is that if i do actually get it to lock to 2g when i try to change it back to 3g it takes forever and many power cycles before it actually works. other than that it works great. am i missing something?

Which CSC file do I use for India (DD)?

EDIT: The DDJG4 firmware has my country INU in the *#272*HHMM# menu. How can I extract this for usage with other firmwares? The firmware came with a single file - no separate file for CSC. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Use XXJM1.. Don't do the *#272* thing.. You will just need to enter APNs manually :)

HI, Hope someone able to help me.

I did flash my handset using Odin, but as i repartitioned it without any CSC i stuffed it up.

My handset is from VirginMobile Australia ( which is under optus) but it has different CSC: I9000XSAJG2 and product code: GT-I9000HKAXSA compared to the Optus one.

I tried OPS csc and it installed all optus apps. But i prefer the VirginMobile csc where no optus add being installed.

So i hope if someone can help to share the XSA CSC so i can flash my device back.

CHeers.

You just bumped a month old topic...

Use the Optus CSC and just install a rom over top.

But I have no idea why you are using JM6, it's the least stable of the lot.
