It is working normally over 3G and at work (buffulo router).
I too noticed that the speed while browsing the net is too slow, as if the connection between the phone and the router is bad !
I didn't change or add anything to the phone (Takju - Android 4.2.1 - everything stock) except updates of few applications.
You think it has to do with the router settings ? any suggestion will be really appreciated.

Thank you in advance,
Don't think I can help, although the way you are describing it, it could be something related to your router. What is strange is that it started happening 3 days ago, but worked fine before that. Did you change any router settings?
I do NOT answer technical questions via PM. Post in a thread.

I just bought the Asus RT-N66U aka "The Dark Night". Probably the best router I have ever used.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006QB1RPY...Z30Z3YAKH90M5&

Has EVERY bell and whistle you can think of, dual band, gigabit, good throughput, works with DD-WRT and Tomato (I use shibby's tomato)
Slightly expensive but worth it if you want an amazing piece of tech.

edit: wow, old thread. my bad.

Yea, i dunno what they're complaining about. I haven't had a stitch of problem with it. Everything connects and is stable. Except my phone and Nexus 7. But thats a whole other story.

I have had zero issue with it. It is certainly more stable than my old WRT600N, and the range is significantly improved. I've also had no issues with my GNex or my N4 (or my kids' N7s).

Ya i know its not the routers problem when it comes to my Nexus 7 and Gnexus having issues. They connect and stay connected. But its other problems. The data will just stop working. bars always stay blue, but then all traffic will stop for a minute, then come back for 20-30 seconds then stop for a minute. they were both doing this before the router upgrade too. Its an android problem i think.,
