Are u rooted ??Hi everyone,i really noob on this......how to get into recovery mod? And i also need a Lenovo A396 Flashtools,USB driver,and whatever to solve this problem,,please help me guys.

i open my windows 8 device manager & 4 exclaimation marks show up in Lenovo A396
does that mean my phone is not rooted?
if so how to root A396?
my phone android is 2.3.5
kernel 3.10.17
software version A396_S162_140528
hardware version H201

lenovo a396 turning on problem
we have the same phone which is lenovo a396 the problem on my phone it will just show the boot animation and it will not turn on , pls.... anyone help me, maybe some of you know where to find the specific fixtool for a396 and usb driver , anyone help.......

Hi, guys.
I got a solution for flashing Lenovo a396. I tested before, my brother has this exact phone and got stucked on logo. i tried this rom downloaded from Needrom.com and success to flashing without no problem.

~All necessary drivers available to download
~To download, you have to register and its free.
DESCRIPTION

Lenovo A396 Official S221
Plus :
+ Root
+ Changed the first boot picture to new official Lenovo logo
Install the Rom :
- download all files
- install the drivers
- run the ResearchDownload.exe file
- load .pac file
- click on the play button
- Switch off the phone push the volume down button and connect to PC via factory USB cable
- the ResearchDownload recognize the phone, and start the rom flash
- some min later the ResearchDownload wrote "[Removed] Passed" If you see this, then the rom flash is ready
- remove the battery wait 5 sec and put back the battery. Switch on the phone
- ready

If you want to root Lenovo A396,
1- i suggest you try KINGOROOT via PC.
2- Open the software, you need to go to ENABLE USB DEBUGGING first on the phone.
3- Proceed this method while you computer connecting into the internet.
(You just follow all the instructions on the screen, all drivers automatically downloaded- just sit back and relax):fingers-crossed::laugh:
