Yup, ofc we need a new dev but if nobody want build this ROM...

I'm not really into the dev scene, but if there was a basic tutorial out, I could probably have a go at it, likewise others too. Without nothing to go on, we can't really compile and improve the ROM. I have the machine power, 8-Core and 32GB RAM, but need instructions.

At the time being, the latest ROM release is very stable, but it could always be improved further.

At the time I've started compiling RR I wasn't a dev neither. You'll gain experience with time.

If you have some basic skill on Linux, a quiet recent hardware, and some free time to learn you're ready to go.

As I added the needed sources and patches to build janice/codina in RR's Github, is really easy to do it. Hardest part will be when some build error appear. But you can always ask for help until you learn how to fix them by yourself.

If you want to try building contact me via PM, I'll help you.

I am sorry but your thread go down and down because many of other rom was updated in this forum..
Maybe you must often update your rom if you want your rom go up and used by many users.. ;)

sorry my english, sorry my opinion, i just want to use this rom forever..

Do you think I really care about how low or high is my thread on the threads list?

I mean, it's good for me if more people uses the ROM, because that mean I'm not loosing my time, at least I'm making happy some users.
But, what's the point of daily updates? I'm not like another known dev that releases 1 build per day with fakes changelogs for you to go and download it from his web. And guess what?, every time you open/reload his webpage he earns money. Yes, you get an unnecessary update and his pocket gets fat.
I don't make money with this, I don't even get a single donation dollar.

I'll only release builds when sources get updated, and it doesn't depends on me, it depends on RR devs team. It's probably once a week, but it can be longer..

    FIXES UPDATE

As you may noticed, the last build has some random lags/freezes.

As a form of apologize I'm sharing a FIXED version with this changes:
    • Fixed random lags/freezes (superman is flying again!)
    • UKSM is disabled by default
    • Added UKSM toggle in Codina Settings
    • Fixed low in-call volume bug in sources (this time really). Thanks h3llrais3r!

    Don't forget to:
    1. Wipe cache
    2. Wipe dalvik cache

All this changes and more (sources update) will come officially on RR 5.0.8, probably on next days.
Please, don't blame me if you download this and in 2-3 days there's a new build.

    OTA UPDATES

    - You will get a notification on your phone when a new version of RR ROM is available. You can download the ROM on your phone through the OTA updater.
    - For now, I have made the link to open in a browser as direct links for the ROM zip on file host might not work at times. I might change this to direct downloading of zips in the future.
    - Full ROM will be downloaded, not a delta zip.
    - I haven't tested flashing the ROM using the automated scripts in the OTA updater. Use them at your own risk. I advice you to open recovery manually and flash the ROM manually. If you do decide to test the OTA updater scripts and it works, share with the community.

    RR 5.0.8

    RR 5.0.8 is out!

ART is broken on all CM based ROMs due to some bug. If you're on ART switch to Dalvik before flashing this new build.
If you use ART on this build you won't be able to use the phone due to lot of FCs.

As you may know, ART isn't supported by Resurrection Remix. I'm just warning you so you can avoid wiping data to fix the FCs.
I won't add this release to OTA. Why?, because the above info is important and I want to be sure you read it before flashing the ROM.

    Changelog:
    • Fixed random lags/freezes of previous build (superman is flying again!)
    • OverClock? (test and report)
    • Now UKSM is disabled by default

    • 'OK Google' should be fixed (if you test-->report)
