Default USB connectivity with CDMA Workshop

Hi everyone,

I am trying to get a HTC Touch Diamond to communicate with CDMA workshop via USB. when I plug the phone in there is no response at all, neither on the phone or PC. My os is Win7/64.

I have been ok getting Android devices to connect with CDMAWS, but how should I go about with this WinMO device?

Please assist.

you need to install Windows Mobile Device Center on PC to be able to communicate the device with your PC

hi all...

ok, a very frustrating night, but with some progress :)

I have my HTC Touch Diamond up in such a way that I can sync (if I want to)... but I dont want to. I want to get into my phone with CDMAWS. Here is the problem... the phone is not actually connected to a COM PORT.

I used a tool, USBDEVIEW and it shows that the phone is live, but not to a COM port.

So any ideas of how I can get it onto a com port. If it was android, I know we need to get it into debugging mode, but winmo... i dont know.

I need the help of the collective please :)
