Default OK... So I know this phone has issues....

But WTF!

I have been working with phones FOREVER now. I have rooted, flashed, etc, everything! I found this awesome deal on eBay on this My Touch 4G, which was in PRISTINE condition. I paid a messily 60 bucks out the door with shipping for it. So problem was stated that it was stuck on the boot loop. So for me, I thought it would be a simple fix, and my gain, their loss. The first thing I did was I booted the thing into the fast boot. I tried wiping the whole thing, and it just freezes when it gets there. I tried the pd15img method. It all looked good, it starts the update, and as soon as it hits step 1 (bootloader) it just freezes. So I am assuming the bootloader is bad. Is there a fix to that? Or am I completely wrong?

Is there a fix for a corrupted bootloader? No. For being such a proclaimed veteran, you would think you would have read enough to know that the eMMC in this device has a higher failure rate than usual. Sorry, bro.

If that was sarcasm, I applaud you.

Sorry again about your phone.
I actually got T-Mobile to send me a new phone. Apparently whoever had it last, did not finish the complete OTA update. So it obviously was crashing because of a faulty install. So I pretty much got a new Glacier for 80 bucks which is fair. Probably gonna make a quick 100 bucks on it which is alright. And again thanks for your help man. Based on what I saw on your previous posts, you always help members here.
