It's normal that it still says charging. The charger chip will terminate charging when the current drops low enough. (Qi charging doesn't make a difference - it's just another power source.)
You can verify that by either looking at the kernel log (run dmesg in a terminal), which will have entries like
<5>[80688.514526] bq27541_get_psp current_now = 0 mA
value is the current flowing into or out of the battery as measured by the battery gauge chip.
You also look at the sysfs file (e.g. with ES Explorer):
which will contain the current value.
