T-Mobile RMA question
After being bounced around from Google, to LG, back to Google... I finally got somebody worth talking to.
My Nexus (purchased in June) has always had a more temperamental overheating problem... I kept it a week on stock to get a feel...Then unlocked and tweaked to my liking.
It overheated a lot on stock... Couldn't use it on the charger at night for long periods without a force reboot. Undervolting helped a lot but the problem was just noticeable enough to be annoying but not enough to immediately ring somebody up about it.
Anyways point of the thread is after 4.3 the problem became a bit worse and I finally bit the bullet and a replacement should be here tomorrow.
T-Mobile representative said any physical damage will be a $100 surcharge.......... There's two cracks on the back glass and I'm in no mood what so ever to drop $100.
I'll have to wipe clean flash stock and OEM lock before I pack it back up... Feel kind of guilty about that...
What do you think my chances are of not paying the fee?
