[Q] Completely stuck with bootloop(CM10.1)
Okay guys, I'll give a little history. I've had CM10.0 on my phone for months now - worked quite well, very few issues. Last week, my phone did something very odd and showed no signal at work, where I normally get plenty of signal and also randomly started freezing. Over the weekend it was fine, then again today, it did the same thing.
When I got home, I thought I'd reflash the same ROM I had on the phone previously. This did not go so well - the phone still showed no signal, would not find wifi, and froze every time I attempted to go through the setup screens.
So, on to the next step - download and install a fresh ROM. I grabbed CM10.1.3. Factory reset, wipe cache, dalvik, flash ROM, reboot. No go - stuck at boot screen. Pulled battery, waited, back to recovery, clear Dalvik - no go. Fix permissions - no go. Just stays at boot screen.
Now here is the catch - my phone will not show up on any PC I have tried, with any cable, whether in recovery or download mode. The PCs all have the latest Samsung drivers installed and recognize my brother and my dad's Samsung phones no problem. One is a Windows 8 machine, the others is Windows 7.
What I would like to know is if there is something I'm missing as far as getting the phone to show up on the PC so I can do a stock recovery through Odin(which does not recognize my phone at all, but finds the other two).
I know this post is kind of all over the place, but maybe one of you gurus can help me out here. I'm not really in a financial position to go buy a new phone at the moment, and it's definitely not a good situation for me to be without one.
Edit; running CWM 220.127.116.11; can access recovery and download mode.
