Maybe it's just east coast for the moment and it'll roll out by timezone or something.

It's downloading here in NY right now. I'm upstate, like 100 miles north of Albany in a hole in the ground town, literally.

On stock ICS with no mods. I couldn't bring myself to root and upgrade. I've had it since august and I love the thing as it is.

Wow. I thought I would be one of the first ones as I got up at 5:15, went to read Pulse, but first checked to see if there was an update and -- Voila! And not only 4.1.1 but 4.1.2.

I updated via Kies, and it went without a hitch! I was rooted and had a custom Recovery, I did lose root in the process, but knowing XDA I'm sure somebody will have a way to get it back sometime today.

just how long does it sit there saying "Checking for software update" ? mine has had that little circle for a half hour

I was gonna restore to stock 4.0.4 on my 8013 and they grab this - but I cant seem to find the stock firmware anywhere. The PDA doesnt seem to match on samfirmware and the one listed in the dev section is down.

Does anyone know where else I can grab it?

Downloaded and running. Lots of my apps support multi-window. Great feature. Seems response and no lag switching windows. Still exploring but excellent update.

I can't seem to get the handwriting recognition on the Samsung keyboard to be enabled.

I am in Michigan and all I get is "try later" when I try the update

Checked update on my device and it said, "update is going in order it was requested, please try again later."

So I connected to Kies and update available, downloading now!!!

Thanks. I cant even get logged into samfirmware - i try to login and it just sits there at "logging in..."

Guess Ill have to wait for the hotfile download to finish - 2 hours on a T1 with the free download option.
