It seems to make a noticeable difference for me. I'm using #11 with hard to kill launcher. Snappier and a bit more responsive. So many options to choose from. I'm digging it.
ok so he gathered even more entries than I remembered lolTry these ones...I found a more in-depth version...not sure if its better but its at least as good as the other
This is exactly what I'm using that almost doubles my download speeds

Any errors?Zepp,
It backs up the build prop just fine, however it doesn't seem to EDIT the original build prop file - Samsung galaxy S (mesmerize)
Theres options?! Haha I thought you just installed the script, and that was it..
-_-
Once a ro* property is set, it cannot be changed.
For example, in the above post...
ro.ril.hsxpa=2 will stick and ro.ril.hsxpa=3 won't get applied.
The first set looks like it may have come from a user metalspring from droidforums (good guy) he used much of my gathered info and added stuff that he would find in roms.
Of course, I'm just guessing but just saying the differences
Ok I stopped being lazy... and found it... http://www.droidforums.net/forum/chevyno1/154543-simply-stunning-5-4-tweaks-all-5.html#post1611120
ok so he gathered even more entries than I remembered lol
But I havent' had time to see if there is an improvement over what I already had...
Maybe somebody can test this below?
Code:ro.ril.hsxpa=3 ro.ril.gprsclass=12 ro.ril.hep=1 ro.ril.enable.dtm=1 ro.ril.hsdpa.category=28 ro.ril.enable.a53=1 ro.ril.enable.a52=1 ro.ril.enable.3g.prefix=1 ro.ril.htcmaskw1.bitmask=4294967295 ro.ril.htcmaskw1=14449 ro.ril.hsupa.category=9 ro.ril.def.agps.mode=2 ro.ril.def.agps.feature=1 ro.ril.enable.sdr=1 ro.ril.enable.gea3=1 ro.ril.enable.fd.plmn.prefix=23402,23410,23411
If there is no improvement or if it's slower, I won't bother adding to what I already had as there is a chance of using up more battery without benefit.
Of course, if there is improvement, I'd use what I posted in the code above
Any errors?
Hey zep, I noticed that you stated that once an ro. prop has been entered it cant be changed or altered.? If thats the case the ro tweak that your script places in build prop is pretty much cancelled out. Am I correct.

No sense having both sets...
But from the first set, I doubt that it would hurt to keep the ro.ril.enable.a52=1 line.

Ive tried it 2 times, even wiped everything and reflashed the ROM 2 times trying to make it work
By the way, everytime i tried, the settings didnt stick, so i had to make the 99supercharger to run as root and on boot
Have you tried the updated market?

Now copy /sdcard/services.odex to /system/framework and overwrite the original (backed up, yes?) services.odexCreate a new services.odex file from the new services.jar file:
In terminal, type: cd /sdcard, enter, dexopt-wrapper services.jar services.odex $BOOTCLASSPATH, enter.
Here's the "special sauce": copy over the "signature" from the current .odex file into the new .odex file. do NOT continue until this command succeeds!
Hint: the file size of the new services.odex file should not change!
In terminal, type: busybox dd if=/system/framework/services.odex of=/sdcard/services.odex bs=1 count=20 skip=52 seek=52 conv=notrunc
