I searched and couldn't find anyone else with this issue. My launcher seems to be cut off at the bottom with a black bar. This persists across all launchers.

There.. Attached both CPU speed and governor settings and under volting.
I didn't under volt too much... Just a little
Note that I have v2.7 ROM and v2.5 kernel.

Ugh, just realized I lost my GPS as well. AOSP is the devil for this phone...

I've been trying to get Mounts2Sd to work with this ROM but it keeps telling me that the ...well here's a screen shot of it. Might you have any ideas?

Hi diablo009:
Thanks for sharing this information - I just loaded up 2.7 and reverted to the 2.5 kernel so I could underclock too. I've loaded up your settings in CPU Tuner and will report back after a few days with results. I don't play games on my phone the ROM itself is so smooth that so far I haven't noticed any slow downs even with the lower clocks and undervolting.

One idea yes. I'm guessing you simply need to reformat your external SD card. I'm guessing it's in ex fat format right now or something similar. Try reformatting it. More info about your card would be necessary if that doesn't work. I haven't altered any partitions as that is a good way to brick someone's phone badly.

Its a sansdisk 32GB. I used Partition Wizard to reformat and repartition it. I made 28 gig the fat32 part and the rest I made ext2 for the sd-ext.
If I look at the card using an app called Partition Table, it shows the card to be formatted as vfat. So I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it.
Not really wanting to hijack your thread with this but figured I'd ask here before I started hunting for other reasons.
Any help would be appreciated.

No you aren't hijacking. There are a lot of smart people here. I didn't touch anything related to partitions or how the SD ext is confiigured. It must have to do something with your partitions. I don't know what exactly. The v in vfat stands for virtual so I'm thinking it doesn't like the ext2. Did you go with ext2 because it doesn't journal? I'm curious. What made you partition the way you did?

In the Mounts2sd thread and reading various "How to partition your Sdcard" threads I seen it recommended. Now if its not necessary to specifically use ext2, then ill give it another shot with another format. Im still not sure why its reading my card as vFAT when I clearly partitioned it FAT32.
It may just be how Samsung has their partitions set up and I know I've read where its been successfully done in the S3. Now I may be running other scripts that are causing an issue, but I thought maybe I was missing something obvious.

Odin back to stock, things will work flawlessly after this.

That is really weird. It looks like the program installs an init.d script before you can run it. Not sure what that does exactly. Have you tried doing a single partition? Experiment a bit. It sounds like something Samsung did.

I've been doing research and reading. Looks like that's how Samsung mounts and finds external SD. So it is FAT32 but the OS recognizes it as VFAT. which its all a little squirrely to me cause I'm not a device...am but a humble novice with Android.
But, I have a few ideas and will report back if either of them work.
