[Theme][v12]Touch of ICS for Dell Streak5 Gingerbread ROMs

  • *new* [v12] ICS themed Android unknown_caller and USB connect (credits to DeviantArt RL-Mac)
  • *new* [v11] Djezpur .9 chunk patch
  • [v10] Transparent text select handlebars by Djezpur
  • [v10] Dropdown .9 PNG fixed by Djezpur
  • [v9] Lockscreen battery icon for DSC 0.6b
  • *new* Ice Cream Sandwich zoom+fade window animation! <-link to youtube
  • ICS status bar notification icons MERGED (thanks to tenorntex)
  • Black themed dialer (contacts.apk /phone.apk)
  • /system/media/audio/ ICS ringtones
  • Mixed base StreakDroid GingerStreak 2.4.4 + 406 Stock for maximum compatibility
  • center clock bar color 3f9bbf
  • UOT COLOR 3f9bbf transparent popups and overscroll glow
  • Large number digital clock MOD (with working CH animation)
  • Semi-transparent & custom animated status_bar_pulldown via aph bootanimation
  • HC transparent lockscreen with *new* lock pattern color theme
  • ICS Browser.apk (thanks to tenorntex)
  • ICS Nexus Galaxy bootanimation

Thanks to tenorntex's ICS theme for Olleh GB 4 the base idea. Now with the new ICS animation. Modified to work properly with StreakDroid GingerStreak 2.4.4 (No power button hold / quick reboot and no status bar FC). *Should* work with all GingerBread 2.3.3 based ROMS. Please nAndroid backup, test, and report back so I can build a list of confirmed working ROMs!

Confirmed working: StreakDroid 2.4.4 | DSC 0.6b, 0.55b | MaxicetDroid 1.3, 1.2 | ALL GB2.3.3 ROMS including Stock 406 <-seriously, I'd be surprised if this isn't true

::edit:: The following no longer applies to theme [v6] and later. I rebased the dialer off 406 stock.

****! Important note:
The GS2.4.4 base doesn't have contacts.apk\res\drawable-hdpi folder - hence the FC on dialer when using non-stock density or possibly just DPI>200

The home button is not working for me, I am using GingerStreak 2.4.4, does anyone else have this problem?

OK that's where I got mine, but uninstalled the launcher and wallpaper stayed. Just wanted to have the wallpaper saved to my phone. Don't want to download the launcher every single time I want to use the wallpaper. Was not to fond of ics launcher prefer adw launcher with ics theme.


By the way usually don't like animation turned on, but ur ics animation is super quick! Keep up the awesome work.

    Added in ICS style Android for unknown-caller and USB connect. Also included is previous updates such as settings.apk color menu icons (from GS244) and djezpur .9 chunk patch.

    Icon replacements

    I've taken the liberty to cook up a proper NinePatch-version of btn_dropdown_normal.9.png. Replace this icon in framework-res.apk\res\drawable-mdpi (resides in system\framework).

    The other issues had to do with transparent icons in Contacts.apk (system\app). I've created four new btn_circle icons, to replace the ones in drawable-land-mdpi-finger and drawable-mdpi-finger.

    Just replace the icons and flash the theme once again.
    Seems to work for me, maybe Nickshertzer can use these for V10... ;)

    I'd like to disagree... just kidding.. well done job Nick! I think we both are learning as we go, and do it for reasons other than competition.

    I have just started an ICS theme for Streak 7 over on TabletRoms.

    Keep up the good work, There can never be enough themers, we all help and learn from each other.

    The GB contcacts background isnt the same as froyo? It should be fairly similar. If you want to post up the APKs, I could take a peek at them. And I have seen some nice ICS dialers, I would honestly use as much as possible from them.
