What exactly do you mean by dual pane? Similar to the touchwiz feature found on The note 2?

Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk HD

No its for smaller devices IE nexus 7 so the apps will use 2 panels like the nexus 10 does in settings and ROMControl. Zaph and I have talked a few times about how to implement Multi screen like touchwiz does we just havent settled on how to do it or taken the time to try... We might get around to it someday...

Good to hear. Truth be told it's something interesting but not worth porting over all of touchwiz :p

I love the idea and hope you can eventually get to it. I would use it lots.

Thanks for the new build Steve. The transparency setting are a nice upgrade. Roman did a fantastic job on it. I take it one still can't change transparency when using tablet UI. Either that, or I'm doing something wrong. That's the one feature I really look forward to seeing happen in the future.

Thanks again.

Is the AOSP browser in the latest build acting funky for anyone else? It has some display errors for me in webpages.

I'm having a bit of a problem. I'm not getting a lot of random reboots, but when I do get them i usually have some sort of data corruption too. Such as when I reboot I have to do the tablet setup process. My apps are still there but they loose all their settings. Is this possibly a rom related issue or a hardware issue?

What kernel are you using? Is fsync on?

I have experienced the same thing before but only with this ROM. That's not to say that I have not had to reboot or freezes when trying other Roms but I don't think I lost my application settings.

Thanks to ktoonsez for the cpu and gpu tables. That makes life easier as a good starting point.

You'll notice we don't have as many governors, schedulers and bells and whistles
Ill leave that to the full time kernel devs this is just supposed to be simple, fast, clean.

you can still use KTweaker to modify cpu, gnu and governor. Until performance control is fixed and updated.

    For The Public

Announcement time, I have good news and bad news for you guys. I'm taking a break from Development as i've known it for a while. I'll still be around but you guys probably won't here much from me. I'm gonna pass on maintaining the device and threads i'm been working on and also halting development on Project Unicorn Butter. Anyone who wants to carry that torch is more than welcome to. The good news is I've made it easy to bring PUB to any ROM. below you'll find a local manifest with branches for AOKP and CM those manifests should cover a large majority of all android ROMs since most are either based on CM or AOKP. I Heart you guys and all the support you have given me, but I'm just a little burned out and need a break from responsibility to relax and find the joy in developing that i have some what lost. Once it started feeling like work and not fun I decided it was time for a break. Hope to seem you guys again some time.

    Steve

    AOKP Build 3 PUB [mako]

    Help yourselves:

    http://goo.im/devs/bigxie/AOKP_PUB/aokp_mako_unofficial_Feb-11-13.zip

I tested it pretty thoroughly, so fairly certain everything is working. Synced this afternoon so it includes all the goodies from Build 3 found here:

    http://aokp.co/release-jb-mr1-build-3/

Let me know how it goes, thanks!

P.S. it includes a pretty old Faux kernel from 1/18 so I suggest flashing another. I wasted quite a bunch of time trying to get inline kernel building working, but the PUB toolchain doesn't seem to like it. Next time I will just include a newer prebuilt.
