Error: We can't communicate with phone

Following the instructions, I get an error at 85% that says this:
"Process: Upgrade_Masterbin
SubProc: Masterbin Download
Cause: We can't communicate with Phone"

Is this a driver issue? I started from a fresh install of Windows 7 64bit and did not plug in the phone until after running the install.bat script. It's bricked right now.

Here's everything I've done since getting this phone (stock) in chronological order:
-Rooted using the instructions here: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2006946
-Attempted to unlock the bootloader using that same guide, following the "more laborious/error prone/manual way" instructions. This bricked the phone. It gets stuck at the LG logo. Can't get to fastboot/recovery. Only download mode.
-I followed the instructions on this thread and ran into the problem described at the top of this post.

My lg e970 is hard bricked and i need adb dump/backup to revive that . if someone can provide that it will be of great help . the procedure to create adb backup is mentioned below. i hope some noble soul will help me smile

step 1: root your device.
step 2: go to setting > about > software info > build info > tap 5-6 times until message getting to enable developer mode.
step 3: go to setting > developer option > usb debugging >Turn ON
step 4: open your PC and run adb t from cmd.exe
step 5: run this command then check your mobile screen for grant su permission.

adb shell
su
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0 of=/sdcard/Alive_Dump.bin bs=1024 count=1048576

step 6: AFTER THAT create 1GB dump in your phone internal main storage.
find name “Alive_Dump.bin”

note : command are case sensitive so try to direct copy paste better for no error.

Hi Guys , Just before 26 hrs i got security error on my LG Optimus G E970 and I don't know How to solve it. I searched alot and i didn't find proper Guide. So i think i should make one for other people.

This is descriptive Guide and cover almost every single part and Download links.

(For tools and firmware I don't own it , i just searched it on web/XDA so credits goes to Devs )

Download link LGNPST automated (credits goes to Dev) : http://bit.ly/14hPMxn

    Firmware thread link : http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2219953

    Video :

    This is from my experience:
I just went thru the procedures and after download show at 85% my phone auto reboot and some how it got stuck at the blue AT&T logo. I was waiting for another 15 minutes but no changed. At this point I'm a little panic thinking I have brick the phone. So I went to google and do some searching. This is what came up.
If you got stuck at the reboot , power off and FACTORY RESET THE PHONE (in my case I'm holding the volume down button and Power Button.
After a while phone boot up normal into its OS.
    I'm a happy man now
