Hi Guys,
I just installed Dialer Ace 3D on my Omnia i8000.. wanted to share it with you guys out here..
Its working good till now, without any problems on my origianl WinMo 6.1 Rom. (It also works on WinMo 6.5 and HTC TD2)

For all who dont know what it is...

Dialer Ace 3D is a dialer application specially made for Samsung Omnia i8000..
It is capable of motion dialing.. Select your contact by tilting the phone and then bring the phone to your ear-- and it dials the number..
It also keeps a track of your daily calls and accordingly arranges your favorite contacts.. and gives you suggestion for your next call..

System requirements:
1.WinMo 6.1 - 6.5
2.Samsung SDK
3. .Net CF 3.5

How to Download..
I dont have the CAB.. lol

You may get it from Samsung App Store.. Its free to download..
To download on PC you will first have to download and Install KIES (available on Samsung app store) and then open the App Store within KIES application and search for the Dialer Ace 3d under 'Utilities' and download..

IMP: While installing KEIS on your PC select your location as UK.. As the app store is not available for all locations..

two questions:

1) Can you post a rs link? I have a modified rom with no Samsung App Store :)

2) How memory hungry is it? Looks like a damm fatty boy :)

Dialer Ace on the Verizon i920

Has anyone got this to work on the Verizon Omnia II? I tried loading it to My Storage and to the device memory itself and both times no luck. I click on the icon and nothing happens and the phone send button does not get mapped to the program like it is supposed to.

Actually, I got this version to work on my phone:

I have 2 questions about this application:

1) Even if i set dialerace as my default dialer, i can't get it work while on spb shell. It only works when i'm at today screen.
Is that right? Has anyone of you get it work with spb shell?
2) Can you please tell how the 'favourite contact' thing works? I have for example a contact for my brother, with 2 cell phone numbers and a phone number of his office. There are some times i want to call the 1st cell phone number and others i'd like to call him in the 2nd one. The problem is that when on his contact card i can see only one of the cell phone and not the 2nd !!

Get out of 3d menu and then click on the contact.. it will display his cell phone and office # both..
I have a contact which has 2 work #'s and 1 cell #. but Dialer ace will display only his Cell # and 1st work #.. the second work # wont display..
Check their website and their forum...

error installing

i get this error while installing :"it's not possilbe to open 'Multicab.... etc etc..' can anyone help me?

Please, How you solved this:

The file „MultiCab.exe." cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file.

Install smi_wm_std_sdk_redist_2_1_0.cab

May be your device won't allow to install unsigned apps.. as per the error...
Try the registry tweak below and then try installing again...

1. Open registry editor and got to the following key
2. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies
3. Change value 0000101a from 0 to 1
Then soft reset..
P.S. Get it directly from KEIS :) or you may also try the other cab posted here..

It works and it is quite hard to get used to at first hand.
It is totally different than the original dialer, the pad with numnber type.
It shows you by the most frequent contact you have dialed for the last 24 hrs and it doesn't look as your favourites (frankly, people we put in our favourites may not be the ones we always dial, right?)

sorry for the delay. install to your device. then got to "program files"->"dialerace", or something, then you'll have a "dialerace 3d.cab" and "sdk.....cab". click on the "dialerace3d.cab" and install it again;)
