Same thing that i told you in the thread that got deleted.

The only things that i can think of is i have the max number of active background tasks set to 4. And the only other thing i can think of that might be making a difference is using the anker charger 75% of the time. i am rotating all 3 batteries through the week. I have heard it claimed that the charger will charge the battery further than using the wall charger with the battery in the phone(kind of like when they say charge your battery until it says 100% then turn it off and keep charging until it shows 100% again). So maybe that has some impact.

Also the lte signal has seemed to improve where i live as when i first got the phone i was pulling 15-20 mbs down and 5 up and now i vet up to 40 down and 10-15 up now.

Ever since our discussion about autobrightness i have left that on. (not the auto screen power adjustment though).

ThAt shot of 1 day 19 hours with 3 hours screen time was too see how far i could go with light to moderate use. Emails, texting, phone and minimal browsing. If i was to put a fresh battery in and just set here doing things with the screen on without shutting the phone off i get about 5.5 hours with 5 to 10% left.

It is what it is. Don't know whAt else to say.

Now, I'm definitely going to have to get a new stock battery, even an Anker, and test this out. I've wondered for a while if there was any way to fix the short battery life issue, and it seems like this might be it. Thanks, Mad383Max, for all the info.

You do know that..... at that rate.... you would get about 8/9 hours of screen on time right?off stock battery /Anker +100. Guess our phones are just defective

.
My anker batteries are 2500 mah. Zoom.in on the pic i posted of the batteries and you will see this.

I wish 8 or 9 hours :what: but that is not realistic. Think has something to do with the anker wall.charger charging past the typical usb charger amount.

I am not claiming to always get these amounts of time but my average is usually 1 day with 3.5 to 4 hours screen on with moderate use. Have seen better and have definitely seen worse. Case in point was yesterday. Got 14 hours with 3 hours screen time. Went to take my wif3 out to lunch and was in an area where there was no lte and for.majority of time 4g was in and out. Over this 2 hour period my % went from 95 to 55 with very light use (15 minutes browsing xda, 3 texts and maybe 5 minutes of phone calls).

This leads me to believe that people having extreme battery consumption are in areas with weak signals or where there phone is constantly hunting for signals. Just my theory but only based on my experience when in low signal areas.

I think why mine has done so well is because my new work location is within a mile of a tower and therefore has a very stable signal for 10+ hours out of the day. Plus, like i said before, the signal at my home has seemed to improve. Now, whether that is because of something at&t has done or the radio in flapjaxx's Rom is better, i couldn't say.

Why haven't you ever posted a screenshot of your terrible results? I am really interested in seeing what you have going on including what kind of signal strength your phone is seeing.
