Hi devs,
let me introduce the raison which i suggest your interest:
- i've got a Samsung GT-I9505 4.3 rooted
- 3 day ago, i deleted all my photos from picassa app (and the trash just after, yes bull****! :good: )
I'm a sysadmin so after some googling and no one photo taken (to keep the maximum of possibility) , i've tried a recovery of those deleted files.
From Linux, i've a done a 'adb shell su -c "cat /dev/block/mmcblk0" > img.raw' to keep the full internal memory (16 GB : normal).
Then i test :
- photorec
- foremost
I'm able to recover approximately 28000 JPG. Every images from apps, mails, mms, rss, facebook, google+, linkedIn..
Some photos (>1 Mo) which i sent or received are present but my camera's library is not found it seems... not a little part of them...
So, i try again.
Retest the "adb dump" from windows this time + VHD conversion and finally i mount virtual disk.
Recovery's program this time:
- stellarphoenixphotorecovery.exe
>>> Same results...
I don't understand where i'm wrong...
Files should be here no? the delete has normally just erase the index...
I'm desperate.. WTF
Does someone can explain me why the file's recovery doesn't work ?
Or another detail i can try ?
