While installing Cgywin I can't find the md5sum package, anyone had the same problem?
Hi,I dont have the linux version sorry - maybe you could try running a windows virtual machine
not had a problem installing cgywin on windows - the package is located
http://content.wuala.com/contents/neroyoung/XDA ROM Dev Tools/Cygwin.zip
and you can install it from hard drive instead of internet - make sure you change install default to install all by click on the arrow in the package list
Hi,
My problem is, when selecting the packages, tar, zip and md5sum, I can't find the last one. I asked for the linux version so I could try in a RedHat virtual machine.
Does this packages already have the md5sum?download the package in my post above then follow this video

you dont need to put -s that is to include sbl.bin (use with caution)
you only need to put -w to create a wipe pack or -w2 to create a wipe pack and a non wipe pack if you require both
as long as the firmware you downloaded was downloaded correctly and is intact it should work
firmware downloaded from sammobile are the best ones to use with this
doky@doky-vbox:~/splitfus$ ./splitfus2

Usage: splitfus2 [options] filename
Converts the original Samsung Kies FUS update pack to Odin ready bundle
Options:
-s to include sbl.bin (omitted by default) use with CAUTION!
-w create wipe pack (currently only S5360 supported)
-w2 generate non wipe and wipe pack at the same pass
-a leave work folder alone (does not delete on exit)
-k extract kernel only
-t do not sign md5, leave tar output files
