I don't think it will do anything on S4 since s4 has no chip on s-view like note3. So you don't need this mod to make s-view work on s4.

After the kit kat update the non original s view covers no longer wake via the home button. On jelly bean this use to work perfectly.

That's because the original s view cover don't have home button so samsung kill it since it isn't need and also this mod won't fix that.
