@Dhiru1602...
the rom is fine..
but many glitches and distortion on the screen...
Hope this would be resolved

I have noticed this and the reason why I have uploaded the build is just to test the performance of the new GPU driver vs the Older one. Since I don't use the phone daily, I am not aware if there was any actual improvement in normal day to day usage.

I suspect they have something to do with the panel.

What my phone's do while the screen is off???

mysteries... :)

It's down because of a date with your Cellular Network.

Yes otherwise the lag the is gone...
Games also works good..
[I tested Asphalt 6,Subway Surfers,Temple Run and Minecraft PE )
These games earlier created some kind of lag...
But now it works just as GOOD  :D:beer:

@ dhiru

The Touch sense responds a bit late that is why we fell that there is a lesser performance.
( Delayed response of the touch) that is what I felt. I am not sure about it.
but overall performance is very good.

Been working on porting the HWComposer, but seems like we will have to port half of the 3.0 kernel display subsystem to 2.6.35 which is hectic and not worth the effort. However, with 3.0, everything is included and ready to guaranteed to work which is great.

Hi there,
@Dhiru I want to report something to you. I was following this thread since ALPHA 3. In Between I have notice that during ALPHA 6 To ALPHA 11 Battery Life was amazing. We are able to get 2 Days Battery Backup even in ICS. While there we were using Old Samsung Kernel Sources which are used until ALPHA 11. And When TI Release new Value Pack Kernel Sources We moved To new one From ALPHA 12. And Battery Drain Problems get started every body here started posting about Battery Drain problem. Even You Revert Back to old Samsung sync fix battery drain decreased but still persist. From ALPHA 12 to ALPHA 14 we can Have Maximum only 1 days Battery Life. Same for Jelly Bean also.I have attache my Battery Pictures of A14 here. You can see I have no wakeclocks and full network signal and its my10th battery cycle still i get 8% battery lose without using phone in 2 hours 45 minutes and about 20% battery lose during night.

A14PIC1.jpg
A14PIC2.jpg
A14PIC3.jpg

So i conduct test and went back to A11 and after first battery cycle only 3% battery lose during whole night (8 hours 30 minutes without wakecloks and full network signal). Pictures are attached below.

A11PIC1.jpg
A11PIC2.jpg
A11PIC3.jpg

Major change during A12 to A14 is new kernel sources. If new sources do not have any significant change then we should use old sources. So I strongly believe that by using old Samsung kernel sources we can have good battery life in ICS and also in Jellybean Rom.Thanks man for your efforts towards this community. Have Happy Weekend .

But as per the changelog, its says Alpha13 has reverted samsung sync fix for the exact reason (battery drain)

anyone can tell me how to install this properly coming from stock?
First I flashed xxkpe, clean install. then rooted using xda-bam universal v14betafix
then full wipe, then flashed this cm9... but It can not boot !!!
after the bootanimation, the screen gradually turns off and become black, then a message appears: (KERNEL PANIC, UPLOAD MODE)

what the hell is that?? is the i9003 so poor like this unlike my i9000 or is there something I am doing wrong ?????

I want to move to cm9 or cm10 cuz the device always make random reboots and shows the ****ty message (kernel Panic...) even when I update to the latest stock rom.

I am currently working on implementing a custom Audio HAL which would eliminate the use of Samsung Audio Libraries.

The HAL is based on the Nexus S Audio and it has FM Radio "Support" Included which would be useful in the future. Currently the HAL works perfectly except for the Microphone in applications and frequent audio shuttering. If this issues are fixed, we could have an entirely opensource audio implementation.

After hours of coding, Auto Focus and Touch to Focus works perfectly. :D

Good news guys. Got the Still Image capture to work. It works pretty fine with 5MP setting and the picture quality is amazing. I need to test in the daylight to see how it works.

The EXIF info is still not implemented and that would be a headache. I will see to what I could do about it.
