il ike the rom so far and will test it a bit more. jst one thing: why do you add the new market? can you make a version with old market? i think the new market runs extremly slow on the hero, don´t you think? maybe make a way to choose between the two versions?

anyway, thanks for porting this rom :)

Just installed this rom, looks and works very good but the notification power widget bar (to toggle wifi and stuff) is empty? I don't see anything there even though in the CM settings they are ticked on.

Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi All

This ROM is Awesome, my Hero feels new again, there are a few questions though.

  1. Which Google apps should I use, I've hunted around and tried a few but none seem to work.
  2. Some apps (Google search for example) wont update, I get a message saying the app us not correctly signed - I'm installing it from the market

Thanks for any help
Rich

Hi

I loved this rom but had a few issues with the market not updating. I am waiting for an update to fix this issue.

While I'm waiting is it possible to use the SMS app on my phone without installing the whole rom, I really like the bubbles and it was really quick.

Can I just extract the APK from the rom and install it?

Thanks
Rich

Simply amazing...

I installed this ROM yesterday and, to be honest, I was not expecting much, mainly due to the low activity of this thread.
However, I have to admit this ROM is simply amazing!!!

Good work. Nice theme, extremely responsive, ultra fast and problem free... Haven't had a ROM this stable for a long time.

Very slow reboots... Or is it just me?

I have but one problem with this ROM. One I haven't noticed earlier...

It looks to me as if it takes forever to boot.

I thought it was just the first reboot but a logcat reveals that each time it boots, it states that the applications have changed and it needs to collect its certificates.

Did anyone notice this? I there any way around it?

Base-The ROM is actually build off a build by Kirin at diypda.com.which was later transalated and built by ajrty33 in the cdma forums, the original thread to his build is here
It's extremely lightweight, quick, and stable.

    Details:
This rom is basically a highly themed CM7.2. I give all credit to the developers of LiGux, Coopoui, CM, and the Heroc. It includes the expanded LiGux settings which allows a lot of customization. I'll expand on customization/options in the second post. It features an MIUI-ish expanded statusbar with toggles for all the common settings.

    Modifications(by ajrty33):
Removed Chinese from many, many various locations
Edited build.prop to remove unnecessary info and align it with current CM build.prop
Removed battery and memory tweaks from boot.img
    Removed a few init tweaks
Modified updater-script to align with up-to-date CM standards
Changed available cpu freqs to standards in boot.img and framework
Edited eri.xml in framework-res to add Sprint
    Replaced PinyinIME with LatinIME (keyboard)
Edited MMS settings in framework to remove Chinese carriers and align with CM settings
Edited apn settings in framework to align with CM
Fixed a few mis-translated words and a couple missing translations
Fixed text sizes in apps that were lost in translation
Fixed messaging menu force close with Kirin update
    Updated included gapps
Updated Coopoui and LiGux to latest available versions (3.2)
Updated system files to latest from CM
Removed Chinese 'market crack' options (plan on removing this completely from settings)
Added 'missing' apks and removed Chinese apks
Fixed a few mistakes and a whole lotta little things.

Well I prob can, but I won't cuss I am now making a port of the updated one from the CDMA one.

---------- Post added at 10:18 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:08 PM ----------

Ok this is a fast and quick port with I think everything working from the CDMA side of XDA, So thanks to them for making it not so chinees. :p

Thanks to well a whole lot of people who supported me to well continue porting stuff and FYA for some nice guide. Now I can port a rom under an hour :O
so this is the latest Ligux with some nice thingies done by the CDMA guys. I love these roms and well this is gonna be my daily for a while. :D
    Its packed with Fly 13 at stock speeds. 352Mhz - 518 Mhz - SmartAssV2
just use CM settings to change those.
I did not choose to pack LV in this one cuss I know for sure Fly would work. and suprisingly it did XD.
I packed the old market in the rom, deleted some useless apk's wich you don't need anyway. Pacman.apk and marketupdater.apk.
Latin IME is not fully working but I will look into that when I get to it tomorow. Missing functions like the press and hold E to get an 3.. XD so that is weird. :S

    Ehm there anything else??

yea BT will switch on and off from the notification popup settings thingy.
And I think everything works XD CAM works btw.. :p

Coopui Ligux R2 Lira CDMA Port

EDIT: about the Latin_IME.apk only the numbers from the longpress are missing, the rest is working fine, well some numbers are missing. Not all :S if anyone knows a fix post it :D then I will implement it.

And now I am going to bed :S so I will post back in ehm well I don't know I think 14.00 my time and it is 22.30 now so.. you count :p

    mediafire

Well no, I am not gonna start a new topic.

This one is a newer version from the Ligux team. With some new stuff and some stuff different.

It sports flykerner 12a, so what I did once I installed it, install fly13 with presset speeds and then Las venturas V1 RC2 all in 1 go, works fine for me.
