[Q] Help with unrooting HTC Desire C
I decided to (successfully) root my HTC Desire C. Then it was later on decided that I could upgrade to a new device with my carrier. So I took the Galaxy S4 and handed the Desire down to my mom, whom shares the same plan with me.
I need to unroot this phone because it's slow to start up and randomly reboots. This is becoming a nuisance for my mom because she uses it for constant contact with her work.
Here's what you may (or may not) need to know:
- I used Hasoon2000's HTC Desire C All-In-One Kit to root it.
- I am not a programmer/developer/coder, so I'm having a very hard time understanding technical jargon, like RUU, Goldcard, etc, etc.
(Go ahead and call me a noob, but I still need your help.)
- Android version: 4.0.3
- HTC Sense version: 4.0
- Software number: 2.00.631.5
- Kernel version:
I've tried HTC Quick Root, but I keep getting a Microsoft .NET Framework error:
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.
Parameter name: index.
When I click Continue, the same thing shows up a moment later.
Strongly looking forward to any responses. Thanks!
