Galaxy y pro duos root

only single sim now????

Hi there,

I downloaded the file and rooted my Galaxy y Pro duos.. But now the second sim card (Slot2) is not recognized.. No Matter what I try, it is never working. It is always only Sim1 active..
Can anyone help here? :(

To unroot is it necessary to flash stock ROM with Odin or would using KIES work as well?

It is weired but i can't get into recovery mode in my friend's device
Does any indian user confirm two button works to enter recovery(Home + Power)?

Not sure but 3 button combo (Volume UP+HOME+Power) should work :eek:

    I modified this update.zip file for Galaxy y pro for our Galaxy y pro duos. Copy to the root of your SD card and flash in recovery. Click Thanks if it works for you.

    You need to press and hold the home button LIGHTLY and just press the power button. DO NOT HOLD the power button just press it.

    You need to press the home key LIGHTLY. Pressing too hard will press the adjacent key/s. I had the same issue, but once I learnt to press the home key lightly it works consistently all the time.

    I didn't try it, as it was my friend's device.

    Edit: just got chance to retry n works flawless.
    3key worked
    Vol up + home (lt to centre key) + power

    Flash any stock rom with pc Odin, wil make totally stock rom.
    Usually unroot tools leaves some foot print on device. So above said method is best n safest.
