[Q] HTC One X (unlocking, rooting)

Hello,
I am a newbie... Tried to unlock and root my HTC One X based on some YouTube videos and the forum discussions here. However, I am stuck. I am sure I missed out some steps or committed an error... I downloaded an all-in-one tool kit, everything was fine until the TWRP process. My phone froze on that step and the phone touch does not respond... so I press the power + volume down and the phone resets to original settings but it starts with the TWRP screen. I also believe the TWRP process has been permanently stored and installed into the system because it does not erase despite factory reset.

I also tried to follow another set of instructions, after the all-in-one-tool kit set up... but it doesn't work.... I own this phone but this is my work phone and I need to get it right... Please help, I have been up for two nights straight to set it right....
