Then I would ask the creator of the guide how to reverse it. IF it can be reversed.
If it's SuperSU you go to SuperSu in the app tray then settings scroll to the bottom choose Full Unroot
reboot you should be unrooted
I've tried all it does it restart with SuperSu still installed

Are you on the stock rom? Do you have TWRP recovery installed? If so reboot into recovery, mount system, the use the built-in file manager to delete /system/xbin/su, /system/xbin/daemonsu and /system/app/Superuser.apk, then reboot.
