let me tell you whats going on.

first there is two different builds of cm11 the auto updated one which it is set as nightly , and the experimental build which devs fix things in it , and everything got fix they push it to the auto updated build, si you can see that nightly builds is more stable and have the camera working .
im now on 30/1 build and everything fine ,also enabled so many features like custom lock screen widget and torch on quick panel and etc.......
but the only bug im having is with instagram ,it dont upload photos , i wrote about this bug at cm11 thread if you can help me.

CyanogenMod 11 is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KK), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

Installation:

  • Boot into CWM Recovery 6.0.4.x
  • Wipe data/factory reset
  • Format /System
  • Install zip from SD card / choose ROM zip from SD card
  • Install zip from SD card / choose HOTFIX zip from SD card (this step is only needed if there is a hotfix)
  • After installation reboot system now
  • 1st Boot take about 3 - 5 minutes (caches are generated in this time
Dont wipe data after flashing the rom / it will break playstore,Camera & TotalCommander!

Dont flash any gapps packages!
Install needed google apps from PlayStore!

Finally decided to with it a try and the bare bones installation seems pretty good and fluid. Great work...

The only problem, apparently, has been Google, I get the "problem communicating with google servers" message. Anyone else having sign in problems today?

    • No Notification Sound in app XYZ --> Go to Systemsettings --> Profiles --> App Groups --> hit + -->create new App Group XYZ --> click + in that App Group and add App XYZ --> Go back to profiles and hit Settings symbol --> Now ad the app group XYZ to your active profile and enable notifications for the new App Group XYZ
    • How to add more "alarms","ringtones","notifications" Sounds? Just copy the needed file to the right folder on SD-Card
      • alarm sounds - /storage/sdcard0/media/audio/alarms
      • notification sounds - /storage/sdcard0/media/audio/notifications
      • ringtone sounds - /storage/sdcard0/media/audio/ringtones
    • How to access SIM-Contacts? You can import contacts from SIM with this app or this app to Contacts but you cant directly save contacts on SIM but you can copy Contacts to SIM with this APP
