Memo to me... about shutdown in bada...

Code:
...
6919 177.554 P00.T11.D001.G-1.E-01:0000 EXCEPTION > [CPLog]: Sub 0010 185.692 -1: BOOTMGR > _BmPacketReceiveCallback: Boot command is [0x3]
1225 0178.052 [B]maxim_poweroff complete[/B]...

As I understand these are logs about shutdown in bada, it may give some clue to get similar logs with reboot in bada instead of shutdown, and look for differences, to try to guess how to implement power off in badadroid, not always restart.

it may give some clue to get similar logs with reboot in bada instead of shutdown

No idea how?

These Logs are from apps_compressed.bin running... bada kernel...
Logged with WinComm...

After I have pressed yes...

For Reboot I have no similar menu...
If I change Debug Level via Code, then Reboot possible...
Hold Endcall button for few seconds... Hardreset...

I will check something and come back later...

Best Regards

Edit 1.
Added Screenshot for Log...
Need to flash XXJEB again, as XXLA1 seems not to show such message...

Edit 2.
Power OFF from cm-11-wave_v4.1
Code:

Then follow bada Bootloader... + FOTA... handset under control from bada Bootloader

Edit 3.
Reboot from menu cm-11-wave_v4.1
Code:

XXJEB output... if I change Debug Level in *#33284*#
I think hold Endcall same...

Leads again to apps_compressed.bin...

Later I will try few more things...
It seems also something about CP... so amss.bin related... maybe DBL involved...

I will check also with RIFF JTAG...

For quicker trying...
I have now created PFS file with zImage inside:
Code:
Media/zImage

cm-11-wave_v4.1.zip is on SD card.

Now I can use Multiloader... instead copy zImage under bada...

Also I can do more stupid tests. :D

Best Regards

Edit 1.
Memo again to me...
Code:
Boot Binary Download Start Ch[0]
BootLoader 1703.9KB OK[0.8s]
Dbl 281.5KB OK[0.7s]
Wait reset !!
Download Start Ch[0]
FOTA 2621.5KB OK[1.2s]
Amss 13166.1KB OK[5.3s]
Apps 26738.7KB OK[12.9s]
All files complete[20.9s]

These files are mandatory from bada... in 512 MB OneNAND:
Code:
boot_loader.mbn--------> Boot
dbl.mbn---------------->loads AMSS aka Modem related
amss.bin--------------->Modem related/Qualcomm stuff
apps_compressed.bin----> bada kernel
armlinux_boot_.[B]fota[/B]---->work with Boot together

Without apps_compressed.bin, FOTA will not start...
No idea if Bootloader needs something from apps_compressed.bin, or only if file exist...

Tested with RIFF JTAG and full erased 512 MB OneNAND.

zImage and ZIP are on 1960 MB moviNAND...

Edit 2.
apps_compressed.bin must be valid for FOTA start...
XXLA1 Boot with XPKG5 apps_compressed.bin leads to red Screen and no FOTA start...

Please, somebody can remember the Original unmodified SBL?
http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=13172174&postcount=595

https://code.google.com/p/badadroid/downloads/detail?name=Sbl_mijoma2.zip&can=4&q

https://code.google.com/p/badadroid/downloads/detail?name=Sbl.bin&can=2&q=

This is also allready patched by mijoma...
I need Original file from I9000 please, for study.

Thanx in advance.

Best Regards

Edit 1.

I am playing with mijoma's modified SBL and few different kernels...
Code:
get_debug_level current debug level is 0x574f4c44.
boot_kernel: Debug Level Low
FOTA Check Bit
 Read BML page=, NumPgs=
FOTA Check Bit (0xffffffff)
Load Partion idx = (6)
..............................done
Kernel read success from kernel partition no.6, idx.6.
setting param.serialnr=0x3730ddc7 0xd97900ec
setting param.board_rev=0x30
setting param.cmdline=console=ttySAC2,115200 loglevel=4

Starting kernel at 0x[B]22[/B]000000...

It seems I was able to identify startaddress and changed from 0x32000000 to 0x22000000 ...
Mixed with I9000 files and I can see Galaxy S Logo...
Hmm, maybe it hangs because missing amss...

These Logs are from apps_compressed.bin running... bada kernel...
Logged with WinComm...

...
I remembered some kind of reboot in bada seen some time ago: after searching, I have seen one option is

*#7092463*# > 2 Debug Settings > 7 Reboot

I am unable to run WinComm anymore (I was able to run WinComm with WinXP in VirtualBox over Ubuntu...); my usb connector is broken, and I charge battery with external battery connector.
After I saw your post, the idea was that comparing bada shutdown logs and bada reboot logs and looking for differences, maybe that gives clues/ideas to implement shutdown in badadroid, because now only restart is possible in badadroid.

If you are interesting from source & kernel pm me :

I make it 5GB full source and 2.4GB compressed, original source it is 20GB.

Support : 2 Weeks, also i support you if you need port Kitkat or Jelly Bean, explain how make it optimize.

Source ICS :
Ready to compile
Support if you have issue or need help and porting.
Very fast compile, 45min for my B960 2 core.

Rom file script :
Support for making it easy way and tweak
With last modification for make theme default.

Kernel source :
All script Nand, SD (bigmem...)
All tweak
Ready to compile, with bash script.

Recovery mode Integrated on kernel source :
I lost the source, but as you see it is complète
I added many thing on
Support for script making.

FBOOT : Multi boot source, like you can use it to boot under to 2 different rom with multi key code.
Kernel goes on 1 folder with 2 different name.
Example : boot ics kernel name : zIcs. Boot Kitkat kernel name zKitkat. Then with key holding you choose which rom you want boot.
I never do it because only support S8500
But it is work.

Of course i don't give it for free, there's more then 5 years experience work before making good kernel and good rom.

Ps : im on new project it is making file sharing next generation. zClouds...

5 years?

How this is possible?

Just lol

I don't sell source i sell my work

Join data 2007
Begin on HD2 (you can find thread)
More then 5 years experience on Phone not only wave

Maybe you think i just knitting ?

Many program Android on Google Play platform who is sell it it is based Android Source.

But they sell they program, because they work to make something new with Android source ;)

Did you try my rom ? Did you see the source ?

About FBOOT i work to port Sd boot, then i passed many time to make multi boot multi kernel possible.

Make work compass, audio call, proximity, usb otg porting......

And it is harder for me because i have less knowledge then Rebellos and Volk, but i do it. Because i doesn't sleep night to find solution.

You think i make super smooth rom with wizard stick ?

No, just 5 month no real sleep. Why i stop im tired.

Sorry but i don't work free. Because i need money like all.

If you are interesting then you can pm me. But it is not a mandatory !

With all these "half working" android os for wave phones...wouldn't it be better to emulate apk's?instead of running android os?
Can wave run apk's like blackberry does? What do we need to make bada emulate apk files like blackberry?
(lets not take into consideration 1ghz cpu and 384mb of ram) ;)

    Guys !

This is android 4.0 on Wave S-8500 :D

I got the system +10% of working :D got touch and launched settings to make proof screenshoot:

Thanks, i will open a web page and post new thread ASAP. I need to get to PC in school :)

well, I complied if someone wants to test, it doesn't have any mounts configured other than the ones rebellos left in the initramfs config, but if you get it to execute it should display a boot image when started correctly. Use the same method as for the S8500 version tut but don't bother putting the filesystem (ext2system.img) in, also you'll have to use an S8530 compiled FOTA, i'm not sure if you have to use the same sbl or different sbl file, for the kernel unzip this file and rename it to zImage.

do this at your own risk, it's still possible for these incomplete kernels to corrupt bada installs.

    (this kernel is for S8530)

Your friends from work and leaving android port project on the second wave did leave
And now we're back on working on working on the wave?
We can not wait to see how Android is the only port on the wave.
    Second wave, then what?
Now that you have a strong team after what you just wave port?
Other owners have exhausted our second wave
Wave 2 is the port you tell us?:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

As Rebellos said, the progress of android on Wave II is about the same than on Wave I. The only difference is the screen driver that is (nearly) entirely working. So the port made for Wave I is also for Wave II. Just be patient.
