Because on PA there was a second option which prevented the launcher from redrawing when switching from PIE to standard layout.

Like I said it was in settings -> toolbars.

The menu seems to have disappeared in PAC. Any chance we might get it back?
Well nova launcher does seem to have that option to prevent redraw as you can see in the screenshot all the way at the bottom... Never tried it tho so not sure if that's what you mean...

On a side note... Those having problems with the reboot... There seems to be some major glitch in battery usage reporting...
After the phone reboots, it seems to wipe about an hour of battery stats as well... Very weird...

For example what JUST happened ... I was using the phone and had about 2.5 hours screen on time with 9.5 phone on time... The phone rebooted itself... And when it came on again... Stats showing 2 hours screen on time, and phone been on only 8 hours... Very weird and been a reason for very random phone stats...

Yes, there is the exact same option in Apex as well.
But that is not what I am looking for.

There was a specific option in settings -> toolbars which prevented the launcher from redrawing when switching from pie mode back to the regular softkeys.
The apex/nova settings do not effect this (I even installed nova for this to try)
