I'm using the earphones supplied with the SBH20 (or SBH52, they're the same), and via bluetooth, setting the volume at max on the phone, on the headset I can go to 70% max before actually feeling my he'd exploding.
Using the device itself and hooking up said earphones the volume is definitely lower, but nothing that the equaliser can't correct.
Anyway, I mostly use (for music) a pair of Beats Solo HD or a pair of Beats Pro (given the size of the phone, the latter are the ones that suit best
), and I have 0 problem with those.
I wanted to get a better pair of in-ear earphones like Sennheiser but gave up when I've read about lots of hear loss cases with continuous use of in-ear earphones... don't know if it's true, but I'm planning on keeping my hearing capacity until I'm at least 80... so it's 50 years from now...
