No, the virtual machine will not be able to pick it up. doing the ls /dev/sd* for only brings up the ubuntu partitions, even withe the phone having 15 drives. You might as well cut your losses and either see if a repair shop can help, or take out frustration by destroying the thing that has wasted your time. lol i really hate this phone and really hate sprint
