GMail UI buttons like the delete icon used to be on the bottom of the screen. With this ROM, they're at the top, which makes one handed operation hard. This doesn't logically seem like it would be ROM related, so my mind went to DPI. But even using Xposed App Settings to push the Gmail DPI settings into the realm they would have been at stock, doesn't impact Gmail button positioning.

Any thoughts?

Have you set the default screen size to 800x1280?
I'm at 213 works great.

I've tried every possible combination (within reason). The DPI changes and the Gmail app portrays the changes as expected. Unfortunately, the delete key remains at the top of the screen.

Maybe Google just madea design change that happening to coincide with my ROM upgrade. Maybe this is just how it will be going forward?

Haha .. Suppose so, you have to make you're own app in that case.

Guys, gals, fellow Asylum users,

I need all of you to please keep me in your prayers. The last month of April have been by far the worst in my life. Which has caused me to realize so much.

My family and personal life just went to crap I've lost almost 20 pounds from my stomach being so upset where I can't eat.

At this point I have to put down my android addiction to focus on other things near and dear to me. And I don't know when or if I'll even return to xda. I might read from time to time, but my days of building are over. There is a new breed coming up, all of them are very talented. Learn from them.

Everyone who has helped me along the way, everyone who has supported me, given me words of wisdom I cannot thank you enough. You will never be forgotten. You know who you are.

On May 12th marks 1 year of the Asylum name. Happy early birthday.

On that note. To everyone who has ever tried any ROM by myself, chas, or Jack the ripper thank you for supporting us.

Is there a way to get the stock android keyboard working for one handed input?

As a fallback, I've been using SlideIt, but it's just not nearly as accurate, at least for me, as the stock keyboard with sliding enabled, or swype.
