This is modded LG ICS camera for CM10 ported by defcomg and LG JB camera ported by me, modded by me. I have changed some things for myself and want to share it.

Change log:

Code: 
[COLOR="Red"]Signed LG JB CameraApp3:[/COLOR]
Added signed JB camera. Not system app, so you can install it like other app. 
[COLOR="DarkOrange"]signed_JB_camera_feav.apk - Works on stock ICS and CM 10
signed_JB_camera_feav_CM101.apk - Works on CM 10.1
nosound version - no focus and video record start sound[/COLOR]
No other changes since last JB mod.

[COLOR="Red"]Test1 LG JB CameraApp3:[/COLOR]
Test LG JB Camera ported by me from Optimus G.
Live Effect temporary disabled.
All options from v3, except:
+ CameraApp3 feature to rearrange menu
+ LiveShot button (while video record).
- Temporary reverted Default storage from /DCIM/Camera/ to /DCIM/100LGDSC/ (caused by LiveShot limits)
> Increased JPEG compression from default 95 to 97 in camera.tegra.so


[COLOR="Red"]v3:[/COLOR]
+ Battery threshold lowered from 5 to 1%
- Lowered video bitrate for 720p to 15Mbps (I think it is optimum)
+ Extras zip: libnvmm_camera.so with Denoise-off (warning! noisy big images. 
Someone asked me about RAW, it is like RAW :) )
- Default camera.tegra.so for Gtalk


[COLOR="red"]v2:[/COLOR]
Changes in CameraApp.apk:
- Added option to MUTE shot sound (absolute silent)
NOTE: but installing v2 you will mute default CM camera too - I changed permissions to:
/system/media/audio/ui/camera_click.ogg
/system/media/audio/ui/camera_focus.ogg
/system/media/audio/ui/VideoRecord.ogg
/system/media/audio/ui/VideoStop.ogg
(If you need, you can change permissions back by yourself thru RootExplorer and etc.)
- Default storage now /DCIM/Camera/
- 720p: video = 20mbps 30fps (1080p is still 17mbps 24fps)

[COLOR="Red"]v1:[/COLOR]

The CWM flashable package include:
CameraApp.apk - modded camera, installs in /system/app/
necessary libs - /system/lib/
modified camera.tegra.so to improve image quality -  /system/lib/hw/
modified media_profiles.xml to increase video/audio bitrates - /system/etc/

Changes in CameraApp.apk:
- Added Support Zoom On Record (pinch to zoom)
- VoiceShutter button replaced by flash button in Camera main menu
- Video bitrates up to 20Mbps

Changes in media_profiles.xml:
- 1080p: video = 17mbps, audio = 96kbps 44100hz
    720p: video = 12mbps, audio = 96kbps 44100hz
- jpeg compression: 97, 90, 80

Can you make in the next realease, that the pictures/movies are put in the same camerafolder like Cyanogenmod?

Can 720 bitrate go little higher?
I would also like 2 see 1080 30fps but 720 with 19k bitrate is more then enough for our phone;)


ps. Feav,voice activation is not working for me in this release while it was working in original ported version;)

How is picture quality & Auto Focus compared to stock CM10? Would be nice if someone could compare them :D

cm10 pic and cam sucks;)
Lg camera from ics is much better(even if it has slower af while taking pics)
Also, lg's video cam don't use af which is great couse it's verry buggy on our phone and it doesn't produce nice video material;)
Lg's video cam uses more bitrate so it's little blt better quality;)

    Okay, I finally installed this camera as well. Been using the other ported camera by defcomg back in PA - as I rarely take pictures I've been using the stock CM10.1 camera only up until now.

    Works really great! :good:

    I heard the "best" CM10.1 camera here would be the LG-JB_camera_CM10.1_feav_test1 one - don't have any complains so far (but didn't try any other ones either).
    I've added a backup script to the flashable zip which should keep the camera installed when flashing a ROM update (as long as you don't format /system).
    To get rid of it just format /system and reflash the ROM.
    This is untested - so either someone tells me if it works or I'll update this post once I flashed a new testbuild to my phone.
    All credits to feav.

    It's in my CM10.1 addons folder for now: LG-JB_camera_CM10.1_feav_test1_persistent.zip
    @feav: You're of course permitted to use (and adapt) the script for your other camera files without asking.
    (I've added the addon.d script + added one line into the updater-script).
    If you want to I'll take down the file on my server again of course once you included the script in your downloads :)
