Default Google Calendar app direct download from Google Play for 4.0.3+

Google just pushed out Calendar as its own app download in Google Play. I'm excited to see this since there were a couple things Sony did to the Calendar I wasn't a huge fan of (colors didn't match what I saw in my browser, etc.) It's also cool to see this app getting direct updates from Google.

Download/update for any 4.0.3+ ICS device here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...droid.calendar

Much better, in my opinion. Now to stop multiple calendar alarms.

You need to go into the old calendar app and disable notifications. The Google APK doesn't overwrite the Sony one (names are slightly different).

Does this one override existing Sony Calendar or there are two calendars on the phone once installed?
And does it have a widget?

Do you find it better than stock Sony calendar?
And does it retain the stock one after installing?

DONATE TO ME
I personally prefer Sony's app this time, the month view is less messy IMHO, it's more iOS-like.
And it retains the stock app, so you can still change your mind

Thanks. Just tried it and I also prefer Sony's one, especially with day preview in month view.
Plus as you said, everything is less messy.
