Default Is Galaxy Nexus better for VoIP than Nexus 4?

I'm using Nexus 4 on Tmo $30 plan. 99% of my calls are VoIP calls through my asterisk server.

I found N4 doesn't support hardware echo/noise cancellation with sip calls.

How about Galaxy Nexus? Any GN-specific VoIP limitations?

It sort of does if you turn the mic and speaker gain down low on your sip client and when you make a call turn the volume down by one or two increments. An alternative that is supposed to work is to use a handset plugged into the Nexus 4 when you want to make VOIP calls.
The galaxy nexus does a better job. LG have done something strange with hardware noise cancellation. For that reason I sold my Nexus 4 and went back to the Galaxy Nexus. I emailed Bria about this in December and it was a know issue, I emailed them again the other day and they responded saying that they still had not been able to sort out the problem.

Thanks.

I have been experimenting with audio settings in csipsimple on my N4.

1. Software echo/noise cancellation adversely affected the normal voice quality so I gave up.
2. I have settled with 40% speaker volume and 30% mic volume in csip. With SILK codec, this is the best VoIP quality that I produced with N4.

If I get complaints, I'll ditch N4 for GN.
