okay i just tried to do the procedure from awhile ago and i got an Error 171: USB CONNECTION ERROR. It keeps doing that im not sure why. i have HTC Sync, i have HTC Drivers Installed but im not sure why the problem keeps persisting.

when you restore in a stock rom the htc knows the change you made or the guaranty is still in on
