1. Can your phone detected by flashtool ?
2. can you copy anything in your phone sdcard ?
3. can you unlock your bootloader ?
If your device is able to detect by the flashtool, than flash only baseband of the firmware u flashed before. Remember flash only baseband which will give your baseband number and imei number
Let me know how it goes...
Thanks for your concern. At the moment, my XZ is lying in some corner of my room collecting dust.
Not that I want it to.But I really have given up any hopes of reviving it after weeks of futile attempts.
To answer your queries,YES it still is capable of all of the above points you mentioned.
However, flashing of baseband of the firmware(or any previous firmware) doesn't seem to resolve the issue.
I might be one of the unlucky ones who have a genuine hardware issue(although its not a case of water ingress,as far as I know)
Also,I bought this phone second hand, without papers. So I don't have a warranty either. And the service centers in my country do not do hardware repairs. They just replace it with new handset(For that you need to have valid documentation/receipt etc.)
Its a very sad situation indeed & I just hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.
Thanks again for your reply. If you know any way of getting hardware repaired, please do let me know.
