[Q] Best Phone Options for someone stuck on Verizon
Let me preface this by saying my company is married to VZW. We have no plans on switching carriers as they have the best coverage in our region.
Having said that, my GNex is really sucking these days. I've run everything from VZW 4.1/4.2, AOKP 4.1/4.2/4.3, CM 10.1/10.2 Nightlies and it hasn't helped. Between battery life/sluggishness/lock-ups/random reboots I'm pretty much done. I did my best to stick it out until the official announcement of 4.4 and Nexus 5. I knew that the GNex was outside the official support window for Google, and even then Verizon still hasn't rolled out 4.3 for it, so I wasn't holding my breath. Plus, all the leaks had pointed to the Nexus 5 not getting Verizon's radios so I wasn't surprised when it was official.
I've been looking at Verizon's current lineup and upcoming (short term) phones. At the moment I'm leaning towards the LG G2 and the Moto Maxx. The Maxx for it's great battery, size and Active Display/Always listening Voice Commands. The G2 for it's great battery and Camera. I'm partial to AMOLED and the G2's weird button placement/Knock-On unreliability have me seriously looking at the Maxx.
On Verizon should I get the LG G2 or Moto Maxx and why? Any other suggestions on Verizon for Android with awesome battery life?
