Browser Reader for Chrome lets your eyes rest and have your ears do the Reading for you; by speaking the text you want aloud from the Chrome Browser using Voice.

This FRIENDLY app is aimed both at basic users who are not familiar with technology, as well as advanced users who just want to perform this task in a very simple manner.

It's as SIMPLE as 1, 2, 3:
1. Open Google Chrome Browser.
2. Copy any text from the webpage.
3. Put your device down and listen.

TIP: Shake device to stop the voice reading and save it as audio content.

TIP:
Once you highlight the text you can also press the 'select all' button which is left to the 'cut', 'copy' & 'paste' buttons and then copy the text to read the whole webpage!
It works great for saving pages for offline voice reading.

Once you copy the text and its start reading it out loud Chrome Reader starts to monitor the accelometer; once you shake the phone to stop reading it also stops monitoring the accelometer so this app does not consume battery!

haha love the idea and the simplicity of this !!

I copy the text I want to show the person im with and then hand him the phone and he just listens to it; people aren't excited to read something when you show them.

Not working in nexus 4 4.4.2 stock, in language setting I can listen example. In chrome on selecting and copying, nothing is happening

can you make it an on and off function for the shaking to stop reading? i don't want it to drain my battery unneccesarily

Is it possible to have multi language support? I mean to choose which language should be read? For example: I have my phone language set to English but for the most part I read articles in Finnish or Swedish. Or would I have to change the phone's default language every time I want to have something read in another language?

Cool beans bro¡ Working just fine on Nexus 7(2012) 4.4.2, this reminds me of an old school program I used to have on my old Win ME desktop. It was called "Cool Speech", it pretty much did the same thing, just with any copied text. This is awesome and loving it, been looking for an app like this for quite some time. Thx¡!
