Alrighty, time to get this party started. ~~I will make these flashable once we figure out the system partition. For right now just extract and replace~~

These are flashable through TWRP for sure, as for CWM haven't tried it yet but I assume it will work.

* MJ4 Supported. Will not work with NAB(D) without proper conversion.
* Tested working on SM-N900P with rooted TWRP recovery.
* These boot animations are packaged in an Aroma Installer.
* None have custom poweron.ogg boot sounds as of yet
* The .gif images may not accurately depict speed and quality of the actual boot animation.
* Most are smooth as butter, some have poor resolution due to image up-scaling.

Well turns out these can't be used on this phone just yet.. samsung completely got rid of any reference of a bootanimation file relating to zips, they are all qmgs so until someone makes a kernel that supports custom boot ani's these can't be used

samsung has been using qmg files since before the SGS1, this http://www.mediafire.com/download/xlbsop29q44vlco/Enable-Bootanimation.zip should enable it. it swaps out the bootanimation binary for one looking for .zip's. it may not work if they are still using samsungani

The method outlined in this thread worked to enable it on the S4. But it seems like we need a new one for Android 4.3

hm, according to this line https://github.com/garwynn/SMN900P_MI3_Ramdisk/blob/master/init.rc#L1019

should be just swap out the binaries and good to go (which the zip will do)

oh, i didnt know there was someone else who made a zip, i grabbed the binary out of the sgs3 stuff i had. the sgs3 came with samsungani and bootanimation binaries, sgs4 they programmed bootanimation binary to load qmg files, so maybe the zip i provided will work, maybe it wont. guess ill have to wait to find out

this is what it does in adb when u execute bootanimation

CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE: cannot locate symbol "_ZN7android21SurfaceComposerClient
