Google drive is live!!

The huge advantage Google drive has over any other cloud services is single file size limit is 10gb u can rip 50 gb blue ray into 10gb and upload it in single file. Sky drive and drop box only has like 300mb limit.

Using ics, it let's me open drive but it's just Google docs right now. I'm sure there will be much more functionality once it's actually live.

I just use rsync to my home music/rtorrent/whatever server, that way I am the TOS and I know that nobody is looking at my files on the server or during transmission (SSH tunneled)...

I just wish Google would add cardav and caldav as accounts like google accounts so I could move 100% away from Google (privately hosted imap email and radicale server for contacts and calendar) with the exception of the market/play store...plus there's subsonic in place of Google music.

I like having tangable control over my own data kthnx.

I guess they have to combine your google docs and allocate the 5 gigs
