Strangely I am having an error while flashing this in RUU. I have pasted the Zip folder in the fastboot folder. Any help appreciated.

Are you s-off? Failed custom ID check means that your CID is different than one of those:

Exactly. My CID is HTC__J15. Is there any way I could add my CID in the "android-info.txt" and then continue with flashing? Would that work?

Edit: Adding my CID worked. Thats one new thing I learned... Thanks

Stock Splash UK

Hi guys,

First of all thanks for any help. I have an S-off (bootloader locked) M8, CID NUM:HTC_001 running firmware 1.54.401.10 but can't seem to install a new splash screen. I keep getting a parsing error. Any assistance would be greatly received.

Splash screen m7

I successfully flashed this M8 splash screen to my HTC one m7 802d version. Thank u for the file.:good:

    Here is the new HTC One M8 Splash Screen that has the "Powered by Android" logo on the bottom. This was pulled right from my M8 and have tested it.

    To flash this you MUST be S-Off!!
    THIS IS NOT A FLASHABLE ZIP. IT MUST BE FLASHED IN RUU MODE


    How to flash:

    adb reboot bootloader

    Once in bootloader

    run:
    fastboot oem rebootRUU

    then when at the black HTC screen run
    fastboot flash zip m8Splash.zip

    Once it's done, rin
    fastboot reboot

    enjoy!
