Long press duration of what? If you're talking about the secondary characters, long press is configurable.
The only issue I have with this keyboard, is that sometimes tracing freezes for a bit when I open the keyboard.

Yeah, I wasn't precise. It can be configured, yes, but not below 300ms, as VeEuzUKY stated:
But secondary function is a workaround anyway, for frequent characters such as ? oder !, editor mode or language change it is a tad slow. Also that it fades away the whole keyboard when a secondary key is pressed is a bit distracting. Overall UltraKeyboard is not truly optimized for speed input. Also text recognition is worse than in TouchPal (best), Swype (second), or SwiftKey (third).
Swiftkey is just to slow to load and has rendering delay and flickering issues. TouchPal is a tad quicker, while Swype is pretty much lag free (as Ultra is). None of the other keyboards I've tested shows up as quick as Swype oder Ultra!

It's been a long time since there were any updates from Ultra Keyboard.
It's still my favourite, but I think some options should be added:
- add your own smileys or text under buttons
- add a list of smileys available for social media (ex facebook http://static.ewebbuddy.com/2011/08/facebook-emoticons.jpg)

Sad to see there's no development any more. This was by far the best keyboard replacement ever, it still is on my S4, but there're lags from time to time where the app seems to crash and restarts after some time.
I would like to use this app as well on my tab, but half of the screen is wasted, even with 0% key height [emoji26] It's just not possible to make the keys smaller. Please, binarybulge, show some sign of life if you're still at it.

To be honest, the thing I appreciate about this the most is the fact that you have arrows on the keyboard.
Does anyone have the Spanish dictionary for this keyboard? I can't download it though the app, and all links to it online seem to be dead.

So sad the development for this keyboard has stopped.
With the creators of ultra keyboard M.I.A. curious if anyone knows what's XDA Developers stance on abandonware? and when will a kind Dev just start making this great again?

PLEASE BRING BACK THIS KEYBOARD!!! It's old, but still the best IMO. Don't change the last version, just update it with predictive text and add Emojis. I still use this keyboard on my Samsung Note 10+ because it has most of the essential functions that are important to me.
Great select, cut, copy, paste and clipboard functions right on the toolbar.
Very important navigational arrow keys.
Dedicated numbers key line.
This is how I have Ultra Keyboard setup on my Samsung Note 10+...
