My kids want to play ice age village, but it doesnt install says its not supported, i have it installed on my acer a500 tablet and runs just fine. What prevents some games from working is there a hack or would rooting and changing roms help

/system/build.prop
and change ro.build.model=Streak7 to LG-P999
if you arent rooted and dont bother attempting this
I tried that countless times to get Gameloft game to install from the Play Store, it doesn't work, no games show up at all except for a few, like Fasion Icon, Platinum Sudoku, and Uno.
My device still shows up on play.google.com as a Dell Streak 7.
I rebooted cleared cache and data, nothing seems to work.
EDIT: This is what you need to change everything to.
ro.product.model=LG-P999
ro.product.brand=lge
ro.product.name=lge_star
ro.product.device=p999
After that the games finally appeared in Google Play.
