I want to test it but i can't sim unlock it with gfree, going to have to try and call t-mobile to see if they give me an unlock code, i don't know if it's still possible?

after a few days of trying different roms and kernels, i was able to get it UNLOCKED , i had S-OFF and rooted but had to go all the way back to stock 2.2 with S-ON and not rooted. my steps hopefully this will help someone

1- flash stock 2.2 (not rooted and S-ON) with fastboot (rename rom to PC10IMG.zip)

the key for my g2 was step 1. and yes it works with the OTA 1.22 but i flashed another rom g2slim 1.6, after that i just created a new APN cause data was not working but the phone was, and now everything is working the way it should. Thanks again Devs..
